The Mercedes Benz 560SL, also known as the “107” body style, is one of the most recognized and celebrated automotive style icons of the 1970’s and 80’s. They are known as the pagoda style convertibles, combining vault-like build quality, great style with excellent engineering and performance. With a sturdy removable hard top and an excellent all weather canvas convertible top, these cars offer a high level of year round practicality, style and performance. In their day, these cars were bought by the discerning enthusiasts, and its design has stood the test of time. The “107” body has now reached collector status, and low mileage, well maintained examples have become rare and collectable.

This 560SL may be the finest on the market today with only 8,277 original Carfax verified miles, the car is a time capsule. The body and paint both have a showroom condtion deep luster and great shine. The tan leather interior is beautiful the leather is supple and feels near new. The dash is in excellent condition, the leather is tight and fresh. All gauges and ancillary components work as they should. The car has its original Becker stereo and it works as designed.

The motor starts easily, runs smoothly and has no issues. There are no mechanical issues with this car. The black convertible soft top is in excellent condition. The matching hardtop is excellent as well. The A/C has been converted to R134a, blows cold and the climate control works as it should (a common problem area with these cars). The car rides on newer Pirelli P4 tires and stock Mercedes rims. The underside of the car is extremely clean, a testament to the low mileage of the car. The car comes with all books and records as well as the original purchase order!
