The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this excellent, numbers matching, 1963 Corvette “SPLIT REAR WINDOW COUPE”. This is a very original car, she has obviously been repainted, but never fully restored. She shows 56,073 miles, we have no documentation verifying the mileage. The car has been repainted in its correct and original DAYTONA BLUE (916A) it is excellent condition, with deep shine and great depth. There are no stress cracks in the paint, and very few blemishes. The chrome is excellent, as is all of the badging and rubber around the car. The interior is likewise in excellent condition the BLUE VINYL (490J) seats have clearly been restored show little wear and offer good support. The carpets and dash are excellent, the interior has clearly been restored and remains in excellent condition. All mechanical systems work as they should. Even the clock works!!! The original numbers matching 327cid/250hp engine (3115597 FO506RC) correct date code engine block (#3782870) is well tuned, makes a great sound and pulls with authority. The original 4 speed transmission shifts well, and the car is a pleasure to drive! The glass is in excellent condition, and believed to be original. The hide away headlights work well, as do the rest of the light and instrumentation. The tires are new, and the wheels and hubcaps are in wonderful condition. The suspension is tight, and all of the bushings are in fresh condition. Whether for show or go, this car is an excellent, and needs nothing but an enthusiastic new owner!!!
