In the 1960’s Chevrolet along with the other American auto manufacturers began developing street cars that could bring performance to the masses. Joining the likes of cars such as the Mustang, Camaros and Firebirds was the Chevy Impala. The Impala was one of the most popular vehicles in its day the curvy body and pillarless side glass gave this full size car a unique look. The SS model runs the 327 CID engine, it added spirited performance and really completed the package. These cars offered practicality, performance and style at a reasonable cost. For the first time, anybody could have a high performance car!! The car on offer is this excellent 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS Convertible. This Impala SS convertible is a rare 4-speed car, with its original engine and transmission. The car is very original and is in excellent “driver Quality” condition. It features its numbers matching 327 CID V8 linked up to ist original smooth shifting 4-Speed manual transmission the car runs and drives beautifully. The car was repainted in its original Bolero Red. The paint is in Fair condition, it has good shine and luster, but there is some separation showing on most surfaces. It does not show in photos, but is certainly there. The Black top and Red interior are both in excellent condition the seats look original and have a nice patina. All instruments work as they should. The power top works as it should. The car has power steering (not original, added in 2016) and is a pleasure to drive. The 1967 Impala SS Convertible has been equipped with AM/FM Radio, Power Convertible Top, Power Steering, drum brakes, Seat Belts, Coker tires and rally wheels. If you are looking for a fantastic “driver quality” Impala SS then this is the one. It runs and drive well and needs nothing except an enthusiastic new owner.
