The car on offer here is a beautiful 2-owner 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II Saloon. This car has 20,480 documented miles and may be one of the finest on the market today. Finished in OXFORD Blue Acrylic over MAGNOLIA Connolly leather with Dark Blue piping and dash. This Silver Shadow has been well serviced and is in remarkably original condition. The Blue paint appears to be original and is in beautiful condition. After a detailed buff and polish, the paint has a very deep luster and shine showing only minor wear and tear as would be expected of a 40 year old car. The glass appears original and in excellent condition along with all of the chrome and rubber trim. The Magnolia Connoly leather interior is in excellent condition showing almost no wear. The rest of the leather interior is in outstanding condition. The leather dash top looks excellent and is free from shrinkage or damage. All of the wood is in amazing condition (one of the highlights of the car). The Rolls Royce built 6.75 liter eight cylinder engine starts right up and has great power of torque. The acceleration is excellent and the transmission shifts as designed. The electric shifter works as designed and the car shifts into gears with ease. The suspension is compliant, solid and free from any issues. The steering is light and free from any looseness or extra play. The brakes have just been replaced ($6300!?)including brakes, rotors and pads it now has a nice high pedal and excellent feel. The master cylinder and lines have all been replaced recently as well. All of the electronics on the car are operating as they should including all of the power windows, which move quickly and quietly, the child lock for the windows, all of the door locks, the power seats, cruise control, windshield wipers and all of the interior and exterior lights. The AC is cold and the HVAC system works as it should. Accompanying the sale of this Silver Shadow II are the original manuals, handbooks and service booklets with their original pouch. Additionally the car comes with its original jack and a car cover. An aftermarket Pioneer trunk mounted stereo has been installed at some point. This low mileage car is an outstanding example of the Rolls Royce Shadow II and may be one of the finest on the market today.
