Jaguar, is a name that needs no explanation in the automotive world. Known for making some of the finest and most luxury sports and saloon cars for the past 70 years, the marque has an illustrious history!! The Jaguar Mk2, initially released in 1959, has become one of the most iconic 4 door luxury cars of the 1960’s. The car was altogether a more modern and stylish car then its predecessor the Mk1. With a brighter wood veneered interior and more balanced looks the car is universally admired. Offered in both 3.4 and 3.8 liter engine size, these cars were the super-saloons of their day with the 3.8 being the fastest saloon in the world at the time. The Jaguar Mk2 saloon was voted 'Car of the Year' when launched in 1959 and would form the mainstay of Jaguar's saloon production until 1967.

The car on offer here is this gorgeous, 1967 Jaguar Mk2 3.8 with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The car has been the recipient of a sympathetic restoration and well maintained over the years. It is a left hand drive car in near show condition. She is stunning both mechanically and cosmetically.

The car has had recent work, including the
- repaint of the nose,
- full tune-up,
- new tires,
- brake flush,
- new aluminum radiator,
- new auxiliary cooling fan (car runs cool, even on the hottest summer days.
- New voltage regulator
- New steering bushings
- Rebuilt and fully tuned carburettor
- Full tuneup including plugs, wires distributor cap, points and rotor
- Interior work, including wood and leather.

The result is a superb car, which starts easily, has great power and torque and handles as designed. and it has been a darling of the show circuit since. The Green paint is stunning with great shine and luster. The tan leather interior, likewise, shows as near new. All trim both inside and outside is in excellent condition the chrome is excellent and unblemished the rubber seals are fresh and moist. The wood veneered dashboard and door caps are finished to a very high standard. The shut lines are factory correct.
The engine bay is in nice condition, the exhaust is stainless steel and a newer exhaust system. Sensible modern upgraded and an aluminum radiator with a modern adjustable electric fan to keep everything cool. The brake system and suspension have been rebuilt and are well sorted. All systems work as designed and the car drives beautifully. New Radial tires on chrome wire rims complete the look of this stunning car.
