1985 MERCEDES 380SL “71,340 miles, well sorted, up to date on all services, THIS IS A STUNNING CAR!!”

The car on offer is this EXCELLENT 2-owner 1985 Mercedes Benz 380SL. This 3 owner car shows 71,340 miles CARFAXED miles on the odometer. It is very original, and is one of the finest we have seen. This is a special car, and belies its age and mileage. The WHITE paint is excellent, shows deep luster and shine and no issues. The original Tan leather interior is supple and shows little wear the seat bolster is excellent. The dash is in excellent condition, with no shrinkage or cracks. All gauges and ancillary components work as they should. It has a new stereo and power antenna both works as they should. The motor starts easily, runs smoothly with excellent power and torque. We have sold many of these SLs’, and this is one of the nicest we have ever seen. The brown convertible top was replaced and is in excellent condition, the rear window is clear and the top mechanism works easily (not always the case with most of these cars). The matching white hardtop is likewise in excellent condition. The climate control system works as it should the A/C blows cold, the heat and defrost works the vents are slow moving (often a problem with these cars), but work. The car recently (April, 2018) had $3500 worth of maintenance, including but not limited to

-Brakes including rotors and calipers
-Oil and fluid change
-steering tie rods and center links
-Cat Back exhaust
-Idle control module
-Door stops

Mechanically the car is excellent, the suspension is in great shape, all bushings are in top condition, and the car drives as it should. The tires are in good shape and she rides on gorgeous spoked rims .The underside of the car is extremely clean and the muffler system is NEW excellent. The car was serviced in April 2018. The car comes with all books and manuals as well as the tool kit and jack. It has a clean Carfax, available upon request. We sell these cars, and this 380SL is one of the finest we have seen. The car runs and drives as well as it looks, and needs nothing except an enthusiastic new owner.
