1973 TVR 2500M “Excellent running and driving car well sorted and ready to go”

The car on offer here is a very original 1973 TVR 2500M. This left-hand drive U.S. example is powered by its correct 2.5-liter Triumph inline-six, equipped with its stock SU carburetors (with non standard air filters) and mated to its 4-speed Triumph manual gearbox. Finished in RED with a BLACK interior, the car shows 48,100 miles, and while we can’t verify the mileage, it is entirely plausible. The car has recently received a comprehensive service including rebuilt transmission, rebuilt carburetors, an oil change, clutch master cylinder, brake master cylinder, new ignition coil, Pertronix ignition, new fuel pump and a fluid service. The car starts easily runs beautifully and is a pleasure to drive!

The body is in good shape, the Red paint is mostly original and shows well there are some waviness in areas as is to be expected from a fiberglass car. The manual Webasto sunroof works as designed. All rubber seals around the car are fresh and pliable. The bumpers are painted black and are in fine condition. The correct 14” alloy wheels are mounted with BF Goodrich tires. Disc brakes are equipped up front, and drums are fitted out back. The interior is in really nice condition, the seats have clearly been redone. The carpet is original and threadbare in a few places, but shows well none-the-less. The padded dashboard features a factory Blaupunkt cassette head unit and speakers. Smiths gauges include a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and a 5-digit odometer showing 48,100 miles. Buy with confidence, as this TVR is in very nice driver condition, has been well sorted and drives beautifully. The car has a clean Massachusetts title.
