The car on offer here is this gorgeous 1969 Mustang Mach I 428 Cobra Jet fastback. The subject of a fully photo and receipt documented mechanical and cosmetic restoration in the early 2000’s, the car has done only show miles and remains in stunning condition. Originally “Black Jade” (a dark green), the car was repainted Black the paint is excellent with deep shine and luster. There is no evidence of the original color anywhere. The car's interior has been restored as well and is in wonderful condition. The engine is its original 428 cobra jet, has been rebuilt, starts easily and has great power and torque. The original 4-speed manual with limited slip The underside is in excellent condition. The interior, likewise, was restored to the same standard as the rest of the car the original restored seats are in near new condition. All stainless trim and rubber seals were replaced and remain in excellent condition.

The following upgraded equipment was used in the build

- Original 428cid Cobra Jet motor rebuilt
- Edelbrock aluminum heads
- 4-speed manual transmission (believed to be original)
- Repaint in “Black”
- 4-wheel disc brakes with SSBC calipers uop
- Restored interior
- Holley carburettor
- ALUMINUM Radiator
- Power steering
- Dual electric fan

As can be seen, a heavy wallet was employed in the restoration of this car it is stunning both mechanically and cosmetically. The engine starts easily and has great power and torque. The 4-speed manual transmission shifts well and the clutch engages with authority the car is fast!!! The modern 4-wheel disc brake system offers amazing modern stopping power. The power steering is excellent the car handles and is comfortable almost like a modern car. The car comes with its Marti report verifying its authenticity.
