1985 Mercedes Benz 500 SEC “102,165 Original Miles! Super Clean! Well serviced!”

The car on offer here is a beautiful and rare Mercedes Benz 560 SEC. Back in 1985 this was Mercedes’ flagship sports coupe and one of the finest GT of on the market. It was the top of the line and most expensive Mercedes you could buy at the time. The car features the venerable, 5.0L V8 mated to an overdrive 4 speed automatic transmission. This SEC has 102,165 original miles on the clock and is in wonderful condition both cosmetically and mechanically. The car has been well maintained. It boasts a clean Carfax with lots of maintenance records. The following is a list of some the recent repairs and maintenance

Rebuilt transmission (95,465 miles)
Brake pads and sensors (94,208 miles)
Water pump (89,545 miles)
New tires (October, 2017)
New rear exhaust section (October, 2017)
Full A/C service and new OEM compressor
Shifter bushings replaced

The car runs and drives as well as she looks the engine is smooth and still has the famous Mercedes power and torque. The Black paint on this 560SEC is in good original condition for the age and mileage. There are minor blemishes around the car that are to be expected.
The Tan leather interior is in wonderful condition and belies the age of the car. All mechanical systems work as they should. The AC blows cold (recently dealer serviced) and the climate control works as designed. The seat belt presenter on the drivers side does not work, but the one on the passenger side does. The radio works but many of the pixels on the display do not work. The seats are in good condition and all of the seat controls work. The seat bolsters are in nice condition and the back seats look as though they were never used. The wood veneers are in good condition but do have some fading and mild cracking. With the recent service, there can’t be many 560 SEC’s on the market today that are in this mechanical and cosmetic condition. Enjoy this car today as all it needs is an enthusiastic new owner!
