1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible “25,660 original miles!! Time capsule! Stunning, original car!”

The 1970’s was a time of excess, and nothing typified this more than the Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. 20 feet long, 5400 pounds, 500 cubic inches (8.2 liter!!), 5 ft long doors, front wheel drive, and a gigantic white convertible top!!! Nothing screams “the 70’s” like these cars!! They were the last of their breed. Soon, oil embargos and a drive towards economy cars would doom these cars to extinction and the “era of excess” would be over.

The car on offer here is an extremely low mileage example of a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. With only 25,660 miles, this may be one of the finest cars on the market today. The amazing Dunbarton Green paint is original with the exception of the hood which has been painted due to chips and mild corrosion. The paint is excellent with good color and depth the car has white pinstripes and trim. The interior (color coded 312) - White with Dark Blue-Green is in excellent condition the leather supple with little wear (the drivers armrest has a 1 inch crack and the passenger door panel has a few cracks as well). The Dark Blue-Green trim is very nice with only minor wear. The dash is excellent with no issues. The WHITE CONVERTIBLE TOP IS NEW and the electric top mechanism works as it should. The car has its hard boot cover. All electric seat adjusters work well and the AC blows cold. The clock does NOT work but another working clock comes with the car. The tires have few miles and the correct original wheels and hubcaps are near perfect. The 500 CID (8.2 liters??!!) engine has been well maintained and the car is up to date on all services. The car has a modern stereo, cleverly hidden and remote controlled. Modern Bluetooth and sound quality while maintaining the traditional 1970’s look. This is the last of the “land yachts”, and cars in this condition rarely come up for sale. This is a no-excuses car that will make a great addition to any collection. Feel free to call 203 256 9800.
