The car on offer here is an excellent, low mileage, 1987 Porsche 911 TARGA. We have been through this 54,940 mile car, and it is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. THE 1987 WAS THE FIRST YEAR OF THE G50 TRANSMISSION, AND ADDITIONALLY, THE CARS RECEIVED, COMPARED TO EARLIER YEARS, A NOTICEABLE BUMP IN HORSEPOWER. This car has lived in a collection, and has been driven sparingly over the past decade. Recently the car was fully serviced, including all fluids. A new ECU was just installed, and the car was fully detailed! The 3.2 liter 217 horsepower engine runs beautifully, and has good power and torque and runs as well as any 911 we have driven. The GUARDS RED paint is excellent and original it has deep shine and luster with few nicks or blemishes. The BLACK interior is in excellent condition as well, the leather is soft and pliable, and shows only the mildest wear on the driver's seat bolster. All of the electric seat adjustments work as they should the targa top works as designed and is in great shape. The dash shows well with no issues. The 5-Speed G50 Manual transmission shifts well, and the clutch operates well and engages with authority. All of the mechanical systems work as they should, and the car has a modern radio (we do not have the original). The Yokohama tires from 2016 have less than 3000 miles they remain in excellent condition. The original Fuchs wheels are in excellent condition.
